baroque oboe, second part of 17 th century.
Baroque oboe of the 17 th century.Only one brass key. 57,5 cm. Boxwood with some touches of color as a trompe l'oeil painting giving the impression it is covered with tortoiseshell. Certainly among the earlier oboes made in Netherlands. Very near the Haka production. However, some elements as the bell indicate a german influence. A rarity ++++.

Oboe by Lehnen in Nürnberg.18/19.
Oboe by Lehner or Löhner in Nürnberg. 3 keys. This oboe was made in my opinion by the father about 1770/1780. The design and some details show many characteristics of an instrument made end of baroque period, beginning of classical period. repairs soon.

Oboe by Triébert the father circa 1835.
Unbelievable oboe by Triébert the father made about 1835. 10 silver keys in his original palissander case with a so nice mother of pearl ornament around the keyhole. With the first owner initials on the cover. The reed case made of shark skin with 3 original reeds. This instrument needs only a repading and an adjustement. We are in front of an exceptionnal oboe, of a perfect preservation, certainly the property of a professional musician during that period. it is a so nice instrument but more, an historico musical witness in that first half of the 19 th century.
