Walking-stick flute, 19 th century. 3 parts, one wooden key, same wood as the flute, probably boxwood. Turned wood giving the impression it is bamboo. A small repair to ensure the mortise and tenon joint. Photos very soon.

Nonon built this flute in a dream.The wood of a hight density. 12 silver keys made with artistic craftmanship.Made circa 1850.The so nice case was made of course for an exceptional instrument.It was perfectly repaired by a master.I heard it, even the birds stop singing.

Four brass keys flute by Bellissent à Paris circa 1820.
So interesting instrument by Monsieur Bellissent flutes maker of the royal music school and of Monsieur Tulou. Boxwood, ivory mounts, 4 brass keys. The left hand bear the number 3, but it had not two others corps de rechange, however the tuning slide bear the inscriptions 1 and 2. Repaired, repaded. Soft sound but with so rich harmonics.

Ivory csakan made by Melchior Harrach in Wien, 1834.Bearing the signature M.Harrach on a silver plate.Another silver plate bear the inscription " pour (for) Robert Richter 1834 in Wien.Very typical shape in that period, the bell screwed is very similar with a wiennese oboe bell.The head tenon was rebuilt ( badly ).And two silver chiselled mounts are absents.Tone in A flat or F.Difficult to know caused by the musical condition.Also the key is typical from that school.It is the first time we saw an ivory csakan made for a rich Wiennese amateur or professional.
